You should see version 6.2.1 or higher.ģ. If the library is displayed in the standalone version, click the NI logo in the top right-hand corner of Kontakt to display the about screen. Open the standalone version of Kontakt.Ģ. Attempting to load the library manually fails.ġ. Navigate to the following directory: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service CenterĭjinnBass does not show up in the Kontakt Library window.
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS SERVICE CENTER NOT WORKING MAC SERIAL NUMBER
Your serial number should now be recognized and accepted. Navigate to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center "The serial number does not belong to a known product". Native Access fails to activate DjinnBass. might even need to do "Reset and scan".Īlso, I should ask, are you on Mac, or are you on PC?Ī small number of our users have experienced the following issues, and these are the fixes we have found to work in each case. The folder it's in should be in the list (if not, add it). That would be under the "Database" tab, then DB Options. you shouldn't have to, but who knows why it isn't working. That's why I was mentioning you might have to load the library manually. You need to get it to show in there in the list of libraries, or it won't work. With it showing the library in the standalone Kontakt player correctly, it should show in the Kontakt Player VST in Reaper too. It's either Native Access, Kontakt 6 Player, or DjinnBass that's the problem. Where I'm confused was if DjinnBass at least works for you in the standalone player. This is exactly how it should show in the VST version (when I say VST version I'm talking about Kontakt, not Djinn).

I'm a little confused, because in the first post, in one of your pictures labelled Djinn in Kontakt Standalone, it shows the DjinnBass library in the list. If you don't, it isn't aware of where your libraries are installed.
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS SERVICE CENTER NOT WORKING MAC INSTALL
The install location in Native Access is found by clicking the Man icon in the top right corner, then Preferences.īTW, when you open Kontakt 6 Player in Reaper, you should see ALL installed libraries down the left side of it (1st or 3rd party). or Kontakt 6 Player VST version isn't aware of where your libraries are located. My only guess is that either you only installed the DjinnBass standalone (something I don't think is even possible to do within Native Access.
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS SERVICE CENTER NOT WORKING MAC 64 BIT
You might have to Add the library location here (pointing to where the 64 bit file installed) and then hit Reset And Scan maybe. If you don't see it, try going into Database tab. If so, it really should work, I would think.

Under Options->Libraries you should see DjinnBass here. In Kontakt 6 Player within Reaper, in the top left, there is Manage Libraries button. If it still doesn't work, you might have to add the library manually. I'm guessing you skipped that, maybe? Actually, I dont even think you can, when installed with Native Access. When you reinstall it, make sure to install the standalone AND 64bit version. It seems to have done it correctly for you with the Standalone version.įirst, uninstall it within Native Access, then reinstall it. This should be something Native Access does for you, IIRC. It should do the same in the VST version. It shows in the Libraries in the standalone, based on your picture. I am assuming it's just the VST version that Djinnbass won't work in.
